Founded in 2001, Wearside Orthodontic Centre has cared for over 100,000 orthodontic patients and is conveniently located in the heart of Sunderland on Frederick Street. In April 2022, we expanded with a new three storey practice in South Shields on Thomas Street.
As a specialist orthodontic practice, we boast an experienced team of orthodontists, hygienists, and therapists who bring a wealth of knowledge and specialised training to the field.

"I've had braces on for the last two and a half years. It has been a bit of a marathon but from the start I was aware of the plan and convinced it was well thought out. Simon Lovell has been excellent throughout and I can't recommend him enough. He is very patient and took the time to explain everything and answer every one of my million questions. Appointments were always on time and all other staff were always friendly and helpful. Once my treatment was complete Debs the Hygienist made sure my teeth were lovely and clean, advised me well on ensuring I kept my teeth clean and healthy, and she did the Zoom whitening which really finished off my smile.
